Patrick Craig’s talk will be about Bach and Handel-Separated at birth. 1685 was an extraordinary year for music. Two world class composers were born 130km and just one month apart. Much of their childhood development mirrored the other, but their careers took very different directions, and they never met. Patrick will reunite these two giants, with a special focus on their vocal music, which has inspired his career as both a countertenor and a conductor.
The Hastings Centre, The Ridge, TN34 2SA (opposite Conquest Hospital.)
Doors open at 1.30. The talk begins at 2.00 pm. The talk lasts about 75 mins.
Tickets cost £10.00.
