Soothsayers return to Hastings with their unmistakable blend of Afrobeat, dub, jazz, and conscious soul — this time joined by the vibrant Red Earth Collective for a powerful night of groove, spirit, and connection at Henry Ward Hall.
Expect deep rhythms, rich horns, vocal fire, and an atmosphere that moves both body and mind.
Soothsayers have been lighting up stages for over two decades with their politically charged, groove-heavy sound. With deep roots in South London and global reach through collaborations with the likes of Tony Allen, Johnny Clarke, and Chronixx, they’ve become one of the UK’s most respected live acts — known for their joyful energy and serious musicianship. Joining them are the Red Earth Collective — a genre-blurring, multi-generational group of musicians and spoken word artists whose work explores identity, resistance, and celebration through sound.
This is a standing optional show with some seating removed to allow space to dance.
