Pianist, composer and improviser Richard Erickson presents Strange Cocktails, a solo piano performance bringing together jazz, blues, original compositions and spontaneous improvisation.
C. J. Berry joins the second set on guitar. Berry’s recording credits include Heidi Berry’s Firefly, the Creation Records compilation Doing It for the Kids and Below the Waves.
Erickson’s career spans the UK and United States, with performances at the 606 Club, Southbank Centre, Bull’s Head and Vox, and collaborations with musicians including Stacey Kent, Martin Shaw and Gerard Presencer. His work also extends into theatre, dance and ballet, including the feature-length jazz ballet Carmen, premiered in Minnesota and revived in 2023.
