Join us for a night of incredible music with Poppy Prescott, Cordelia Gartside, and Alice Barnard at The Printworks!
Poppy Prescott
Hastings born singer-songwriter Poppy Prescott draws any crowd to silence with her soft soulful vocals and folk-style storytelling. Growing up surrounded by musicians, she began performing live long before she was allowed to be hanging around music venues.
Having freshly released her second EP, Reasons Why, which garnered BBC Radio 6 play and a sell-out launch show at London’s iconic Troubadour, Poppy returns to beloved Hastings for the first performance of her newest material. She’s joined by her incredible band made up of Dan McConkey (sax), Keir Tyson (guitar), Myra Brownbridge (double bass), Liam Talbot (synth & vocals) & Josh Walker-Martin (drums).
Cordelia Gartside
Cordelia Gartside writes alt-rock songs with lyrics like short stories and vocals that land like sucker punches. With her band, Cordelia delivers live performances which have drawn comparisons to Radiohead, combining electric stage presence, gut-wrenching vocals & grungy band euphonics.
Alice Barnard
Alice Barnard and George Duncan are a vocals and Guitar duo, performing original songs with an acoustic, soulful and jazzy feel.
