Mosaic Triangle features Lynda Murray on saxophone, Paul Whitten on bass and Yair Katz on drums and percussion.
Murray performs mainly modern jazz and her own compositions, influenced by Cannonball Adderley, John Coltrane, Lee Konitz and Miles Davis. During his early career, Whitten’s bass playing took him around the world; a particular highlight was playing regularly in Chet Baker’s quartet in Paris.
Katz is a local drummer and percussionist who works across a variety of bands on drum kit and African percussion. He has an MA in World Music and also works as a music therapist.
