Halloween in Hastings 2025: A Spooktacular Night at St Andrews Mews

Friday 31st October 2025 – from 6pm

This Halloween in Hastings, join us at St Andrews Mews for a night of melted cheese, live music, ghostly theatre and wicked fun. With witches, blessings, giant monsters and a fancy dress competition, this is Halloween for grown-ups who like their frights served with a smile.

Greyskull Halloween Feast – Raclette & Drinks from 6pm

We’ll be serving Alpine-style raclette cheese melted over crusty baguettes with tangy pickles – the ultimate winter warmer. Wash it down with seasonal drinks from Greyskull, open from 6pm to fuel your night of mischief. 🧀🍷

Timetable of Halloween Horrors

6pm – Greyskull opens: raclette sandwiches & drinks
7pm – The Bearded Witch of Hastings delivers a pagan blessing to summon the spirits and kick off the night
7:15pm – Live music: Rose and the Ghosts set one
8pm – 9pm – The Medium (Victorian ghost story on stage)
9pm – Live music: Rose and the Ghosts set two
All night – Explore the Spooky Mews-ium, meet monsters, skeletons and giant spiders

Live Music in Hastings – Rose and the Ghosts 🎻👻

Back by popular demand, local folk favourites Rose and the Ghosts return after lighting up our opening party (yes, including that He-Man theme tune).

Expect a mix of original folk songs, eerie covers, and Halloween specials to raise the dead (or at least the dance floor). With two sets across the evening, they’ll keep the spirits high before and after the theatre performance.

Live Theatre in Hastings – The Medium

As part of the Fish and Scripts Project, we’re proud to host The Medium, brought to us by The Lantern Theatre, Brighton.

London, 1875. Two spiritualist mediums await a séance to begin… but who is really pulling the strings, and what exactly is haunting them?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “A masterpiece in how to deliver Victorian thrillers.” – Theatre in Brighton

Capacity: 50 seats – booking essential

Spooky Mews-ium – Hastings’ Haunted Hall of Horrors

St Andrews Mews becomes a Halloween museum like no other: giant animatronic dragons, skeletons, skulls and spiders bigger than your nightmares. Think of it as Hastings’ creepiest exhibition – one night only.

The Bearded Witch of Hastings

Catch her blessing at 7pm, then later step inside her gingerbread house for pagan mischief, shots disguised as potions, and trick-or-treating for grown-ups. She doesn’t just stir the cauldron – she stirs the crowd.

Fancy Dress Competition 🎭👻

Pull out your most haunting, hilarious, or downright cursed costume for our Halloween fancy dress competition. The prize? Brunch for two at Greyskull – if you dare to face daylight the next morning.
