Step back into the roaring 1930’s for an afternoon of glorious swing!
Ewan Bleach & The Fleeting Paradise Jazz Orchestra present luscious big-band arrangements of early jazz classics, plus fresh original compositions as part of the launch of their debut album.
Whether you want to tap your toes, have a boogie, or simply sit back and soak up the groove—this will be an evening tailor-made for music lovers of all stripes.
Ewan Bleach is a multi-instrumentalist bandleader based in London. He plays a mean clarinet, saxophone, and piano, AND sings! Oh and he composes, arranges, and leads both the Cable Street Rag Band and this – The Fleeting Paradise Orchestra. His passion shines through for early styles of jazz, ragtime, blues, swing—music made for dancing and romance. Across the UK, Bleach has built a reputation for reviving territory-band-era charts, arranging classics and original works alike, and creating immersive live experiences. For this evening he’ll be joined by an all-star lineup of musicians at every position and featuring St. Leonard’s own and world-renowned violinist Max Baillie.
