Hastings Old Town’s Grand Carnival Parade has the 2026 theme “100 Years of Television”. Entrants are invited to create costumes, performances and floats inspired by television from the past or present.
Registration opens at The Stade Open Space at 13:00 and closes at 16:00. Assembly begins along Rock-a-Nore Road at 16:00, with the parade starting at 17:00.
Road closures will operate from 15:30 to 20:30 between Iceland Roundabout and the top of Old London Road. Entries are accepted on Carnival Day and participation is free.
Fireworks courtesy of Renegade Pyrotechnics will be launched from Hastings Castle on West Hill at dusk. The best viewing area is the beach promenade.
