Join the Stables Play Reading Group and White Rock Hotel Table Reading Group for a special Fun Palace at Greyskull Coffee, St Andrew’s Mews, Waldegrave Street, Hastings TN34 1SP, where we’ll be reading Joan Littlewood’s anti war play, Oh What a Lovely War!, one of the best known works created by Theatre Workshop under her direction. The play has been chosen especially for this Fun Palace event to celebrate Joan Littlewood, whose original Fun Palace idea inspired the movement today.
Roles will be shared out and rotated, so come along and join in, or simply listen and enjoy a drink in the relaxed surroundings of Greyskull Coffee, who are kindly staying open later to welcome us.
