Stand Easy Café is a community-focused café run by East Sussex Veterans and located within the Creative Media Centre in Hastings. Managed by veterans and volunteers, the café welcomes everyone, offering a friendly and inclusive space to enjoy freshly brewed coffee, tea, and light refreshments. Beyond serving drinks, it acts as a social hub where veterans, their families, and the wider public can connect, relax, and support one another.
All proceeds from the café help sustain services provided by the East Sussex Veterans’ Hub, a charity dedicated to assisting veterans facing challenges such as mental health issues, homelessness, or welfare concerns. The café works alongside the Veterans Hub, which offers guidance, wellbeing activities, and community-building opportunities. Together, they form an important support network for veterans in Hastings and East Sussex, fostering wellbeing and connection within the community.
