The Observer Building

The Observer Building in Hastings is a dynamic venue that hosts a variety of events and offers spaces for rent. Originally constructed in 1924 for FJ Parsons Ltd, this historic structure fell into disuse in 1985 and became derelict. It was revitalised in 2019 by Hastings Commons, who transformed it into a vibrant hub for local businesses and community activities. Today, the Observer Building houses offices, co-working spaces and other enterprises. The building’s restoration is part of a broader initiative to rejuvenate the surrounding neighbourhood, making it a focal point for both professional and social gatherings.
