The railway holds various events over the year including a diesel gala, steam gala and end of season gala, which feature many of its own locomotives as well as visiting locomotives from other railways.
Throughout December the railway also operates its evening Illuminated Christmas specials and also welcomes Santa for the grotto specials.
The railway operates all year round, operating daily on every school holiday and from May to October with limited weekend services through the winter months.
