Salvation Army

The Salvation Army is a Christian church and registered charity offering worship and community support. Currently, the Hastings Citadel building is closed for refurbishment, with plans to reopen in the summer. In the meantime, worship services are held jointly with Hastings Temple Corps. The organisation is involved in various community activities, including support for youth, families, older people, and those facing homelessness. It also provides budget and debt advice, employment assistance, and campaigns on social issues. The Salvation Army welcomes donations, volunteering, and other ways to contribute to its mission.
