VG Lee is a novelist and short story writer. In March of this year Muswell Press published her sixth novel, a psychological thriller, Our Shadow Selves. In Hastings Book Festival ‘The Dark Side’ event Lee will be talking about coming late to writing – her first book appeared in 2001 when she was fifty. Now approaching her late seventies, this most recent novel marks a change of direction: from warmth and humour to something far more chilling!
In conversation with poet Della Reynolds, VG Lee will talk about the challenge of changing writing lanes in later life. She will also read from her work and answer questions from the audience.
