DESCRIPTION:Stormy-T & Bluesman’s Lane are a four-piece Hastings blues band formed in 2018, specialising in traditional jump and swing blues, retro rhythm and blues and classic blues from the 1930s to the present alongside their own songs. They have released an album of original material, Drinkin’ & Swingin’.\n\nThe band is led by lifelong Hastings musician, guitarist and singer Trevor White, also known as Stormy-T, who presents The Stormy-T Blues Show on Hastings Rock Radio. The line-up connected with Hastings Blues Club is Trevor White with Jem Turpin, Andy Ingram and Tim Parker. Their repertoire draws on artists including B. B. King, Howlin’ Wolf, T-Bone Walker, Freddie King, Robert Johnson, Taj Mahal, Robert Cray, Elmore James and Sister Rosetta Tharpe.\n\nThe band run the long-established weekly Hastings Blues Club, inviting visiting musicians to take the stage. They have performed at pubs, clubs and festivals around the country, including the Hastings Seafood & Wine Festival, whose programme described their mix of rhythm and blues, swing, blues and funk.
