Afrit Nebula prefers to travel between them.\n\nBlending elements of avant-garde jazz, progressive rock, Middle Eastern modes, Afro-Cuban rhythms and improvisational music, this unique trio creates a sound that is adventurous, atmospheric and impossible to predict. Their music moves effortlessly between hypnotic grooves, cinematic soundscapes and explosive moments of spontaneous creativity.\n\nThe group features three highly accomplished musicians:\n\n🎷 Elaine Edwards – saxophones, flute and keyboards\n\n🎸 Ken Edwards – bass guitar and vocals\n\n🥁 Yair Katz – drums, guitar and vocals\n\nTogether they weave influences from across continents and musical traditions into something entirely their own. One moment you may hear echoes of spiritual jazz and modal improvisation; the next, a driving Afro-Cuban rhythm or a soaring rock-inspired passage.
