DESCRIPTION:Some evenings are about virtuosity. Others are about courage, community and the joy of finding your voice. This special End of Term Showcase celebrates the singers of Donna Canale’s Jazz Class , bringing together a wonderful group of vocalists who have spent months exploring the world of jazz standards, harmony, improvisation and performance. Founded by acclaimed vocalist Donna Canale , the class has become a welcoming and inspiring space where singers of all backgrounds can develop confidence, musicality and a deeper connection to jazz. What makes these evenings so special is not perfection, but authenticity. Every performance carries its own story, personality and spark. ( Facebook ) Expect an evening filled with classic jazz favourites, swing-era gems, bluesy ballads and unexpected musical moments, performed by a supportive collective of singers who have worked together throughout the term. The atmosphere is warm, encouraging and often surprisingly moving, with plenty of laughter, applause and shared celebration along the way. Donna herself is a highly respected singer, songwriter and educator with extensive performing experience across the UK. Alongside her own original music and jazz performances, she has appeared with major big bands and collaborative projects, building a reputation for combining musical excellence with a genuine passion for helping others discover their voice.
