DESCRIPTION:Our Summer Youth Project returns for its 23rd year with the wildly funny, big-hearted Shrek The Musical — a show packed with larger-than-life characters, outrageous fairy-tale chaos, and more layers than an onion.\n\nEach summer, 100 young performers from across Hastings and beyond come together to create a full-scale musical from scratch. In just a few weeks they’ll sing, dance, act, laugh, and occasionally attempt their best Scottish ogre accent — all while building confidence, friendships and memories that last long after the final curtain.\n\nThis year our talented cast will bring Shrek, Fiona, Donkey and a whole gang of fairy-tale misfits to life in a show that proves heroes don’t have to be handsome, princesses can save themselves, and sidekicks sometimes steal the spotlight.
