The Others’ Market

The Others’ market is an alternative arts and crafts market event based in the south east of the UK.
Our sixth event will be in Hastings, at the wonderful and creative space that is The Beacon, which is where all our creatures are born (our studio). We will be back in the garden, taking over this lovely space and giving it a dose and half of spook and freak.
As we are just in time for pirates weekend, we are joining the fun and having a CAMP PIRATE theme (think Adam Ant and Vivienne Westwood) come dressed in your fabulous interpretations of pirate and be dazzeld by the goodies, jewels, booty and alternative creations that will be at the next market on 20th July.

Featuring 20+ unusual, alternative, weird stalls full of curiosities & oddities, handmade art, unique objects and out of the box creations. We also always have divination readers.
Discover a beautiful and bizarre collection of bespoke pieces, DIY fashion, occult /tarot /astrology readers, original art, drag themed objects, unusual dolls, occult trinkets, obscure prints, one of a kind creations, bric-a-brac, hand-made jewelery, goth candles, black hats, masks and much more.
Performance from our beloved Hastings Punk Choir and others to be confirmed
🍴
The Beacon will be serving all kinds of drinks to keep us hydrated and the Shared Table will be serving the most delicious food to eat.

FREE ENTRY
All welcome, including children and dogs, cats and other animals

The Others’ Market – Summer edition
Saturday 20th July 12-5pm
@ The Beacon, 67-68 St Mary’s Terrace, Hastings TN34 3LS

HOW TO GET HERE-
The key to finding the Beacon is… ditch the Sat Nav! The Beacon is below St Mary’s Terrace (not in it) down a narrow, crumbly track.
Get to the top of the West Hill on Priory Road then turn into Plynlimmon Road, which very soon veers sharply to the right. Don’t turn the corner here – the crumbly track is directly in front of you.
Vehicular access is for turning only – the Beacon has very limited parking. Please don’t park on St Mary’s Terrace; there is plenty of free parking in surrounding streets.
We don’t claim to have easy disabled access – if you have mobility issues, talk to us in advance. (Please note, the Beacon does not have wheelchair friendly toilets.)
