Yes, if you want to bedeck yourself in greenery, you can! Wear a mask, a jester’s hat, a fascinator. Release your inner child. Bring noise-makers to scare harmful spirits away from the old apple tree. Yes, ok, they can be kazoos.
Bear Well Top! Join us as we chant under the waxing crescent moon as it sets over the West Hill, and under Orion to the South. Neither too soon, nor too far. Wassail!
Inside there will be a fantastic folk music session round the pub table. This will be an evening of music, singing and morris dancing and, as it’s a pub, drinking. There will be cider. There will be the new King and Queen of the Court of Misrule … and so Anything Could Happen.
