Poppy Rockett is self taught at singing, playing guitar and songwriting. This has come true with the collaboration of Max Garner on drums, Milo Gross on bass, Charlie Morrell playing lead guitar with Poppy lead vocals and Rhythm Guitar.
They have been gigging over the summer and appeared at two festivals in Hastings recently and were well received by the crowd and the promoters. Her “Comfortable Silence” EP launch gig in Jan 2023 was a sell out success!
Poppy draws inspiration from many genres of music but some of her favourites are Radiohead, The Sundays, Fiona Apple, Mazzy Star, Jess Jo Stark, Lana Del Ray, Alanis Morrisette and Jeff Buckley to name but a few! She admires many artists and dreams of making musical history as they have.
