Jeff Williams

Jeff Williams – Trombone. Jeff is a top-of-the-tree professional trombonist based in London. Jeff is an extremely versatile musician equally at home in big bands and small groups and in every style from Dixieland and Trad Jazz to Swing and Be Bop. He has a residency in Soho’s Spice of Life jazz venue with The Uptown Five which he co-leads with his long time associate, tenorist Al Nicholls. Jeff has played and recorded with a host of bands, many under his own leadership (notably The Mississippi Swamp Dogs) and well as as a freelance sideman with some of London’s top outfits such as Blue Harlem, The Puppini Sisters, and many more. He appeared at the inaugural Barnaby’s Bones event in Hastings earlier this year and we are so excited to welcome him to play with The Jazz Organisation House Band, this week featuring Andy Nunn on Piano!
