Hastings Bonfire

Hastings Borough Bonfire Society’s spectacular torch lit procession and fireworks celebrating the thwarting of the gunpowder plot of November 5th 1605.

7.00pm – The Beacon on the East Hill is lit.

7.15pm – The procession commences from the White Rock then through the Town centre, along the Seafront to the Old Town and back to the beach.

Road closures in place from 6pm – 11pm.

Safety Notice – Please respect the safety barriers and do not pick up discarded torches. Do not bring your own fireworks and comply with any requests from the marshals. Keep your children with you at all times and ear protection is recommended. Please do not bring pets they may be frightened. Make sure you avoid leaving litter. The society are very conscious of keeping the beach and town clean. Collections for local charities. Please give generously as all money collected goes to charity. Don’t forget to buy your Bonfire Society Programme – all the details of tonight’s event and more. It also helps to fund the Bonfire Festivities.
