Barnaby’s Lounge is delighted to welcome Leon Baker , performing under his solo project Keith’s Sun .
A songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and accomplished drummer, Leon creates music that explores the vulnerability of the human experience. His songs are emotionally rich, rhythmically adventurous and impossible to pigeonhole, moving effortlessly between intimate acoustic moments and expansive alternative soundscapes.
Influences including The National, David Bowie, The Police and Peter Gabriel can be heard throughout his work, yet Leon’s songwriting remains unmistakably his own. Every performance unfolds differently, with unexpected twists, dynamic arrangements and lyrics that linger long after the final note.
Alongside his solo work, Leon has built an impressive career as a drummer, performing with Wobblyme , The Kindling , Drugstore , Life on Sky , The Clones , Foreign Slippers , The Missingman , and contributing to productions for the BBC .
