“Since the release of Ain’t No Lady (2018) the world went MAD didn’t it?! Personally my creativity got stunted with my finishing university, losing my rhythm section, going insane in the pandemic, 2 bouts of covid, 1 broken foot and a hysterectomy!! This record requires the biggest party ever please!
I am excited to be hosting this launch in the incredible Henry Ward hall in Hastings, this place does a lot of good for a lot of people and in using this space we will be helping raise funds for repairs to the building.
I will also be raising money for the Menopause Charity organisation who raise awareness and educate about womens health issues. I have been open and have written about the issues I had which lead me to needing a full abdominal hysterectomy at 44 having been sick for years undiagnosed. I’d like to help spread the word about different symptoms and causes that leave women scared and confused. I have included a separate early bird ticket option to include a small donation to the charity and the VIP tickets also include an automatic donation.”
